The event will feature the latest data on HIV/AIDS from ECDC and the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

Recent years have shown clear progress, but the successes to date are only a starting point. As effective treatment and care allow more people to live longer with HIV, the public health focus must expand to address emerging challenges and support the quality of life of people living with HIV. Persistent issues such as stigma and discrimination continue to hinder access to care and remain major barriers for people living with HIV.

The event will explore how to close gaps in care, reduce stigma, and redefine what success looks like.
