Antimicrobial resistance call launched

IMI 6th Call 2012 - Stage 1

IMI has launched its Call for proposals on antimicrobial resistance.
The deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest is 9 July 2012.
The 6th Call 2012 consists of one Theme: Combating Antibiotic Resistance: NewDrugs4BadBugs (ND4BB) and covers the following:

Topic 1: Innovative Trial Design & Clinical Drug Development

- Subtopic 1A: Workpackage 1-4
- Subtopic 1B: Workpackage 5

Topic 2: Learning from success and failure & Getting Drugs into Bad Bugs

A third subtopic (Subtopic 1C) to be conducted under Topic 1, as outlined in IMI 6th Call 2012, will be launched later this year under a new Call by IMI JU.

Future Calls by the IMI JU addressing further research topics in relation to antimicrobial resistance will follow throughout 2012/2013.
